Many of our neighbors are feeling the impact of the recent freezing of SNAP benefits. Families who were already stretching every dollar are now facing even tighter choices — between groceries, gas, and essentials.

At Moore First UMC, our Five Loaves Food Pantry is committed to meeting this growing need with compassion and practical help. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.

You can make a difference in several ways:

  1. Give financially – donate online or in person to support food purchases and pantry operations.  Link to Give Online
  2. Give in-kind – bring non-perishable food items for our pantry boxes.
  3. Give time – volunteer to shop, pack boxes, or carry groceries to clients’ cars. Email [email protected] or call 405-794-6671 for more information.
  4. Give prayer – pray for the families we serve and for the strength of our volunteers.
  5. Give influence – invite your workplace, neighborhood, or family to host a food drive or make a collective donation.

Every gift matters. Every hour given makes a difference. Every prayer lifts someone up. Together, we embody the love of Christ — feeding bodies, calming fears, and offering hope.

With gratitude and faith,

Rev. Shyloe O’Neal
